Who is Gina? 

Gina is a SoCal native with a passion for fun, big-hearted connection, and making a bold fashion statement wherever she goes. A licensed cosmetologist since 2004, Gina brings creativity, patience, and joy to every haircut she gives.

With more than 17 years of experience as an ABA Interventionist at SEEK Education, Love to Learn, BAT, Precious Hearts Academy, and Autism Spectrum Consultants, Gina has found a unique way to blend her professional expertise with her personal calling. She now uses her cosmetology skills as a special needs barber, creating safe, sensory-aware, and empowering grooming experiences for children and adults with disabilities.

Raised in a special needs family herself, Gina understands, deeply and authentically, what compassionate care truly means. Through Gina’s Shear Joy Foundation, she’s committed to bringing confidence, dignity, and joy to every individual who sits in her chair.
